At Caffe Fantastico, we take great pride in bringing the finest coffees the world has to offer to our customers. This process starts with the careful selection of the best green beans from farms throughout the coffee producing world. Our head roaster Derek Allen then develops specific profiles for each of our coffees which highlight the distinct flavour of the terroir. A small sample is roasted and cupped to assess its fragrance, acidity, body, flavour and aftertaste. The roast parameters are then adjusted to bring balance and harmony to the coffee. We slowly roast on our drum roaster which utilizes energy efficient infrared heat that is gentler on the coffee and allows for more development, depth, and complexity. All of our coffees are roasted to provide the most enjoyable and ultimately satisfying coffee experience.
